RUN WILD, DERBY
Trail Running has a bit of an extreme image, with most people assuming you have to be a mountain goat venturing deep into our countries wild places to take part, but that's just not true. You become a trail runner the second you step off the tarmac and step in to nature, in your local park, the public footpaths around your house, canal paths, and more. Once you realise this, adventure is all around you.
Join us for our free urban tral running club, heading out with like minded individuals to discover Derby's wonderful green spaces, nature reserves, and network of off-road routes.

Darley Park
Starting 1.2 miles from Derby City Centre from Darley Park Tea Rooms (DE22 1DS), we will help you to discover a green route that takes you to moors north east of the city. This adventure leads you up and away through woodland and open fields to give you a real sense of urban escape, before turning back to enjoy a unique birds eye view of the city as we cruise back down to the river.

Derby Bus Station
Starting in the heart of Derby (DE1 2AW), we will celebrate the last of our summer urban traill running club events by taking you on an adventure to the 21st best bar in Europe. This one-way run takes the river path out of the city and rises above the valley floor for stunning views of countryside and heritage mills, before descending to one of our counties most awarded pubs. From here, it is up to you when you want to get the bus back to Derby.
