Run good races
make a positive impact
Leave no trace
Our aim is to create trail running events that have a positive effect on their surrounding landscape and local economy. Part of the reason that we want to keep running on the trails is for our growing respect for nature and the desire to be in it. To make this sustainable, we are always looking for ways that we can reduce our impact whilst increasing participation.
What Good are we doing?
Your Support protects the Peaks
With our flagship races being based in the Peak District National Park we have committed to paying for Silver Peak Partner status with the Peak District National Park Foundation. The charity works tirelessly to protect and enhance the Peak District National Park, and most relevant to us, repairing and improving the 1600 miles of trails that we love to run on with no statutory funding. So when you take part in our races, you'll be helping us to continue supporting the Foundation's Paths & Trails Appeal.

Your participation plants trees
In collaboration with Into The Great Wide Open, we are committing to plant indigenous tree species at selected sites across Derbyshire to help restore natural habitats and encourage carbon capture.

A portion of your race entry will directly contribute to this fantastic grass roots tree planting initiative right here in Derbyshire.

Your running engages local businesses
We are proud to support local businesses, from food and drink suppliers providing the most authentic post race fuel, to waste reducing Kit Repair specialists, local attrations, and more. Choosing to work with these Derbyshire and Peak Dstrict based businesses supports the rural communities who play host to our events and removes the carbon cost of transportation.
